I write a new story every day. These come in a range of lengths, some as long or longer as the micro fiction some shorter. Don’t try to do the math on the days.
Hello, my name is Adam Rimland, and this is my creative portfolio.
I am a former English major at Cal Poly; graduated in the spring of 2024. I also minored in History. No, I don’t want to be a teacher.
I’d describe my work as (hopefully) humorous, and at the very least aimed to entertain, in fact, the picture to the left is me directly after rereading one of my stories.
In addition to the more creative pieces above, I have experience in technical editing and more formal work.
In my free time, I like to create and edit short videos, usually with whichever roommate I can rope in to do it with me.
Music is also a big part of my life, in college, I was even in a cover band called Magnolia; I was the bassist. I’m biased but I think we were pretty good.
Thats me front and center. Yes, I know we look like waiters. No, it wasn’t my idea.
